General Project Description
The County of San Diego is seeking quotes from qualified firms to provide air conditioning unit replacement at the Mountain Empire Regional Communications System (RCS) radio site. The project involves the removal of an existing Bard AC unit and the supply and installation of a new Bard 2-ton wall-mounted AC unit ("or equal") with a low ambient control unit, an ICM492 control unit ("or equal"), and an RSH50 surge protective device ("or equal"). The work includes all associated labor, supervision, transportation, materials, connectors, cabling, supplies, tools, equipment, and cleanup for installation, new electrical whips, new control wires, custom metal transition pieces for supply and return grills, sealants, hardware, supports, electrical and wiring connections, and post-installation testing for proper operation.
