General Project Description
The San Elijo Joint Powers Authority (SEJPA) is soliciting bids for specialized services for the removal and disposal of sewage grit and screenings from its San Elijo Water Campus wastewater treatment facility. The successful bidder will be responsible for loading, trucking, and disposing of approximately 10 tons per month (120 tons per year total) of grit and screenings, which have a solids content of 20% to 30%. This service includes providing one covered and one uncovered roll-off bin to be kept at the facility for loading, with trucking occurring approximately once or twice per month as requested by the Chief Plant Operator. All pricing must be on a per-ton basis and include bin rental, shipping, disposal, tipping fees, and applicable taxes. The contract term is from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, with the option for two additional one-year extensions.
