San Elijo Joint Powers Authority is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Provision of Grease and Scum Pumping and Disposal Services, identified under Solicitation ID: -. Work is to be performed near 2695 Manchester Ave, Cardiff, CA 92007, USA in San Diego County.

General Project Description

The project requires a contractor to provide grease and scum pumping and disposal services for the San Elijo Joint Powers Authority (SEJPA) at the San Elijo Water Campus (SEWC). This involves pumping and collecting 1,500 gallons of grease and scum weekly from a below-grade tank, decanting water back. The contractor must furnish, operate, and maintain a 4,500-gallon enclosed storage trailer on-site. Disposal of the collected grease and scum will occur approximately six times per year to an approved disposal site, including hauling and payment of tipping fees for 10-12 tons per trip to a landfill.

General Bid Items

  • Quantity: 1  Unit: Annual  Work Item: Pumping and collecting 1,500 gallons of grease and scum from one (1) below-grade tank, once a week, or as requested by the Chief Plant Operator. Prices quoted are F.O.B. destination. Freight and full Insurance shall be paid by the bidder to the destination.
  • Quantity: 1  Unit: Annual  Work Item: On site storage, Contractor must furnish and maintain one 4,500 gallon enclosed trailer on site at all times. Prices quoted are F.O.B. destination. Freight and full Insurance shall be paid by the bidder to the destination.
  • Quantity: 6 (approx.)  Unit: Annual  Work Item: Hauling, Disposal of grease and scum four (4) to six (6) trips per year, or as requested by the Chief Plant Operator, to an approved disposal site. Round trip cost for one (1) trailer from SEWC to disposal and return. Prices quoted are F.O.B. destination. Freight and full Insurance shall be paid by the bidder to the destination.
  • Quantity: 6 (approx.)  Unit: Annual  Work Item: Tipping Fee, for one 10- to-12-ton trailer disposal to landfill. Prices quoted are F.O.B. destination. Freight and full Insurance shall be paid by the bidder to the destination.
