General Project Description
The San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified Modular Building Service Providers to establish a master lease agreement for the lease, supply, installation, and potential removal of portable classrooms and other modular units at various school sites. The project aims to create a pool of vendors to provide these services on an as-needed, per-project basis, for a duration not to exceed five years with potential extensions. The scope includes providing DSA-approved modular units (classrooms and restrooms), managing delivery and site logistics, ensuring units meet California Building Code (Title 24), DSA requirements (including structural, seismic, wind, snow loads, fire-life, energy code, and CALGreen), providing minimum insurance coverage, and complying with prevailing wage laws. Services also cover maintenance, repairs, and securing necessary permits for delivery (vendor) and installation/occupancy (district).
