General Project Description

The project involves the informal bidding for hardscape demolition due to tree root intrusion at Clarendon Alternative Elementary School. The scope includes demolishing existing concrete paving slabs to expose tree root intrusion and storm drain pipe, excavating and exposing tree root and existing stormwater pipe for site investigations, verifying existing stormwater pipe and invert at two cleanout locations, and backfilling and compacting soil for concrete paving slab replacement. The construction period is scheduled from December 20, 2025, to January 2, 2026, with potential weekend work required to complete prior to school restart on January 5, 2026. A 2-year warranty after final project completion is required.
