General Project Description

This project involves the construction of a new mechanical exhaust system and associated electrical equipment to exhaust vehicle emissions within the Pier S 29½/31 Parking Garage in San Francisco, CA. The scope includes selective demolition, concrete repair, miscellaneous metal support installation, procurement and installation of louvers, and comprehensive electrical system installation including conduit, conductors, panels, and circuit breakers, along with required testing. The contract is a Micro-LBE Set-Aside.

Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Removal of Windows, Concrete Repair and Miscellaneous Metal Supports Installation. Includes salvage of existing windows, repair of rough openings in concrete walls, furnishing and installing miscellaneous metal items to support windows and louvers, protecting and mortaring adjacent windows, abatement of lead and asbestos on salvaged windows, and replacing broken windowpanes with salvaged panes.
Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Procurement and Installation of Louvers. Includes furnishing and installing louvers.
Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Procurement and Installation of Mechanical Ventilation System. Includes furnishing and installing exhaust fans (with hangers, bracing, and fastenings), ductwork (including inlets), ventilation system control panel, carbon monoxide sensors, and variable frequency drive. Also includes completing required Mechanical System testing.
Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Procurement and Installation of Electrical System. Includes furnishing and installing circuit breakers, electrical conduit, conductors, boxes, transformers, panel boards, and any auxiliary equipment and hardware. Also includes completing required Electrical System testing.
Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Mobilization. Capped at a maximum of 10% of the sum of bid items 1 through 4.
Quantity: 1 Unit: AL Work Item: Partnering Allowance. Value: $10,000.00, covering 100% of all costs including labor, supervision, management, materials, and equipment.
