San Jacinto City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Repair And Testing Of The Lake Park Well, identified under Solicitation ID: -. Work is to be performed near 1200 Lake Park Dr, San Jacinto, CA 92583, USA in Riverside County.

General Project Description

This project involves the repair and testing of the Lake Park Well for the City of San Jacinto. The scope addresses the need for supplemental well repair after previous rehabilitation efforts were unsuccessful in mitigating formation sand production. Key tasks include mobilization and demobilization, removal and evaluation of existing pumping equipment, mechanical cleaning via brushing, installation of supplemental hydraulically-swaged steel well casing patches, conducting dynamic and static downhole video surveys, well disinfection, reinstallation of the pump, startup procedures, and site cleanup. All work must adhere to technical specifications, California Water Well Standards, American Water Works Association (AWWA) standards, and NSF/ANSI certifications.

  • Quantity: 1  Unit: LS  Work Item: Mobilization, Demobilization, and Site Cleanup. Specifications: Includes obtaining all applicable permits, preparing submittals, material disposal, attending all required meetings, providing temporary facilities and site security, wellhead completion, and all associated labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Quantity: 1  Unit: LS  Work Item: Removal and Reinstallation of Existing Pumping Equipment. Specifications: Includes removal of the existing well pump, motor, piping, and other ancillary services; reinstallation of the existing equipment; and performing startup testing.
  • Quantity: UNIT PRICE  Unit: HOUR  Work Item: Mechanical Cleaning by Brushing (Time measured in 15-minute intervals). Specifications: Cleaning of the patched section of the well casing and screen to remove mineral scale and bio-growth using newly purchased, spirally-wound nylon brushes (5 feet long, mounted on a weighted core minimum 2 inches smaller than well casing/screen inside diameter, 18-inch outside diameter, replaced if worn greater than 0.25 inches). Includes cleaning of the well sump by bailing, pumping with a focused intake tool, or other approved means.
  • Quantity: VARIABLE  Unit: LF  Work Item: Casing Patch Installation. Specifications: Repair minor structural damage to well casing and screen by installing hydraulically-swaged steel casing patches (18-inch diameter, 12-gauge steel sheet metal, annealed, corrugated, and made of steel type compatible with the well casing). Installation across specified depth intervals (e.g., 644-654 ft, 664-676 ft) with a minimum 2-foot overlap. Placement and verification assisted by a downhole video camera.
  • Quantity: 1  Unit: LS  Work Item: Test Pump Installation. Specifications: Furnishing, installation, and removal of a vertical turbine test pump, motor, and temporary discharge conveyance piping. Test pump set at a depth of 600 feet bgs, with a minimum production capacity of 2,500 gpm from an approximate pumping water level depth of 580 feet bgs, and a variable speed prime mover.
