General Project Description

The San Joaquin Delta Community College District is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide comprehensive Environmental, Hazardous, and Medical Waste Disposal Services for a five-year term. The scope encompasses environmental health compliance, hazardous waste management (including quality control inspections, procedure development, stockroom maintenance, and staff training), weekly/as-needed organization, labeling, lab packing, and disposal of hazardous waste. Additionally, the project includes medical waste disposal services with weekly/bi-weekly pickups for specified quantities and types of medical waste, all requiring strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The selected firm will also provide emergency response services, necessary containers and supplies, and ongoing reporting, primarily serving the Stockton Campus, South Campus at Mountain House, and Manteca Center.
