San Joaquin Delta Community College is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, REPAIR OF FERGUSSON POOL 2026, identified under Solicitation ID: 2026-IFB-018. General Project Description

This project involves the comprehensive repair and replastering of the Fergusson Pool. The scope includes demolition and surface preparation, such as stripping existing pool plaster to the concrete shell, inspecting underlying concrete conditions, and preparing surfaces for new plaster. Component removal and replacement will encompass existing drain covers, floor caps, floor tiles, racing lane tiles, and pool lights (replacing with new compliant units and white LED lighting). The entire pool and bulkhead will be replastered with a white finish meeting commercial aquatic facility standards, ensuring smooth, uniform, and properly cured surfaces. Post-completion, the contractor is responsible for pool filling, chemical balancing, operating all pool equipment, demonstrating operational readiness to the District, and ongoing monitoring and adjustment of chemicals and equipment until final sign-off. All work must comply with local health and safety codes.
