General Project Description

The Housing Authority of the County of San Joaquin is seeking qualified and licensed contractors or general contractors, with licensed subcontractors, to provide as-needed HVAC replacement services. The project involves the installation of new heating and air conditioning (HVAC) package unit systems, including removal and disposal of existing units, system sizing (2, 2-1/2, 3, and 4-ton units), electrical connections, duct repairs, condensate lines, plenum/roof or curb replacement, painting of curbs and pipes, thermostat installation, and freon charging. The contractor will also be responsible for obtaining permits, duct testing, crane service, labor, freon extraction, and dump fees. Work items must comply with City/County Code.
