General Project Description
The San Juan Water District is seeking professional engineering consulting services for the Water Treatment Plant and Hinkle to Baldwin Pipeline Valve Replacement Project. The selected consultant will be responsible for preparing ready-for-construction bid documents for replacing existing 48" and 60" valves at the water treatment plant, constructing/installing a new 72" valve on the Hinkle to Baldwin Pipeline (HTBPL), and conducting internal repairs to a 60" treated water pipeline. The consultant also needs to prepare a complete bid package for the pre-purchase of these three large diameter valves, recognizing their long lead times. The overall scope includes comprehensive project management, quality assurance, site field investigations, and multi-stage design phases (50%, 75%, and 100% design submittals) including plans, specifications, construction schedules, and cost estimates. Additionally, the consultant will provide bidding support services and construction support services for the subsequent construction phase.
