General Project Description

The San Lorenzo Valley Water District is seeking a qualified coating consultant for the Brookdale Tank Recoating Project. The consultant will provide a comprehensive range of services including condition assessment of the 721,000-gallon ground storage welded steel potable water tank, assistance with developing coating contract specifications and scope of work for repairs, coating inspection services during contractor recoating activities, quality assurance of completed recoating work, and acting as the owner's coating expert. This involves rehabilitation design, construction phase oversight, and compliance verification for AWWA, State, and Local regulations, including considerations for identified lead and heavy metals.
