General Project Description

The San Lorenzo Valley Water District (SLVWD) is seeking quotes from contractors for professional services involving pre-construction tree removal and maintenance. This work is to be performed on a District-owned undeveloped parcel in Ben Lomond, California, to facilitate the construction of a new 120,000-gallon capacity water tank and ensure safe working conditions. The project scope includes the removal of 12 trees (8 live and 4 dead) and various maintenance activities on an additional 11 trees (dead branch, stem, and top removal). The contractor is also responsible for logging, chipping, and proper disposal of all debris, strict adherence to environmental protection measures (including preventing damage to non-target vegetation and site features, implementing erosion control, and spill prevention), and site rehabilitation upon project completion. Construction will adhere to specific work schedules and contractors must obtain all required permits.
