General Project Description
The San Lorenzo Valley Water District (SLVWD) is soliciting qualifications from firms to provide on-call special inspection and testing services for a 3-year period. These services will support various Capital Improvement Projects, including new underground pipelines, water storage tanks, soldier pile retaining walls with tie-backs, masonry pump stations, and rehabilitation of existing water infrastructure. Required services encompass compaction testing (for trenches, roads, foundations), concrete strength testing, welding inspection, pervious concrete testing, ground anchor pull testing, pre-cast lagging inspection, masonry inspection for CMU buildings, and epoxy anchor inspection. Qualified firms are expected to promptly provide services within 2 business days of receiving notice and will be required to review project plans to provide estimated Not-To-Exceed values for each inspection list. Deliverables include testing and inspection reports, site visits, engineering plan reviews, and Special Inspection Final Letters/Statements.
