San Luis Obispo City SLO is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Management and Beneficial Reuse of Biosolids, identified under Solicitation ID: WRRF1225. Work is to be performed near 919 Palm St, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401, USA in San Luis Obispo County.
General Project Description
This Request for Proposals (RFP) is for professional services related to the management and beneficial reuse of biosolids generated from the City of San Luis Obispo's Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF). The WRRF produces approximately 2,000 to 4,000 tons of Class B Pollutant Concentration (PC) quality biosolids annually. The contractor shall provide all services for transportation, beneficial reuse, permitting, and monitoring of these biosolids in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. Proposals for mono-filling, landfilling, alternative daily cover, and/or incineration will not be considered. The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary regulatory permits, detailed descriptions of the beneficial use process, all monitoring and reporting, capital improvements at the reuse site, and all associated operational expenses. The contractor must also furnish and maintain all necessary equipment, labor, operators, support personnel, fuel, and insurance for the beneficial reuse operations.
