San Luis Obispo County is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Chaney Waterline Upgrade - CSA 10 -A, identified under Solicitation ID: 300622. Work is to be performed near Chaney Ave & CA-1, Cayucos, CA 93430, USA in San Luis Obispo County.
General Project Description
This public works project involves the removal and replacement of approximately 280 linear feet of an existing 4-inch Asbestos Cement (AC) water main with a 6-inch Fusible Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) water main. The replacement will be executed using the sliplining method within an existing 10-inch steel casing that crosses under Highway 1 at Chaney Avenue in Cayucos, CA. Key project activities include mobilization and demobilization, traffic control, job site management, storm water pollution prevention, clearing and grubbing, erosion control, utility locating, pipeline inspection (CCTV) and cleaning of the steel casing, construction of fusing and receiving pits, concrete ditch removal and replacement, vegetation restoration, asphalt concrete paving, and roadway striping.
