General Project Description
The County of San Mateo Project Development Unit is soliciting proposals for a new Cellular Distributed Antenna System (DAS) at the North County Wellness Center. The project requires qualified firms to provide design, engineering, procurement, programming, installation, testing, commissioning, and warranty services for a fully operational DAS to enhance in-building wireless coverage for AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile/Sprint networks across all interior spaces of the facility. The scope also includes RF site surveys, propagation analysis, design package preparation (including heat-maps, antenna locations, cable pathways, power requirements), structural/seismic calculations for equipment, coordination with other trades, material procurement, system programming, final testing, commissioning, and provision of operation & maintenance manuals, as-built drawings, and training.
