General Project Description

The County of San Mateo Parks Department is seeking qualified contractors for the renovation of a restroom facility at Coyote Point Park. The restroom is approximately 30 ft by 30 ft, divided into men's and women's sections, and includes a chase storage closet. The project involves comprehensive upgrades to fixtures, plumbing, painting, doors, lighting, tile, and all surfaces. The primary objective is to modernize the restroom, ensuring it is durable, easy to clean, ADA compliant, and aesthetically pleasing. The facility has cinderblock construction with a concrete floor and features a tile detail on the front that needs to be maintained or repaired. Contractors must obtain all necessary permits and ensure compliance with the California Building Standards Code (Title 24) and California Plumbing Code (CPC).
