General Project Description

The project entails the comprehensive demolition and replacement of the existing 7,977 sq ft Type V-B construction building at 795 Skyway Road. This involves the complete removal of the original building, including its mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and fixtures. A new 12,592 sq ft single-story, Type II-B metal building will be constructed, designed to house business occupancy and classroom space, subdivided into five distinct tenant suites. The new construction will incorporate two equipment platform structures, a clerestory roof, and an exterior wall system featuring metal panel construction with ribbon windows framed to the metal building's rigid frames and lateral support system. Additionally, the scope includes the repaving of the existing parking lot, with a focus on ensuring accessible parking stalls. Asbestos and lead abatement are also specified as part of the overall work.
