San Mateo County is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Request for Service Qualifications for As-Needed Routine Maintenance, identified under Solicitation ID: FSLRRD-2026-01-14. Work is to be performed near 500 County Center, Redwood City, CA 94063, USA in San Mateo County.
General Project Description
The San Mateo County Flood and Sea Level Rise Resiliency District (OneShoreline) is seeking proposals from qualified firms for as-needed routine maintenance services. This includes multi-year, multi-project agreements for preserving and protecting publicly owned flood infrastructure and facilities across San Mateo County, specifically within the Colma Creek, San Bruno Creek, San Francisquito Creek Flood Zones, and other bayside creeks and coastside channels. Work authorized through individual Contract Service Orders (CSOs) will encompass sediment removal, trash and debris removal, vegetation management (including invasive species removal and trimming), concrete repair (grout injection, patching, resurfacing, joint sealants, graffiti abatement), culvert servicing (patching, resurfacing, erosion control, flap gate replacement), access road repair, and dewatering/bypass systems. Environmental compliance, coordination with biological and cultural monitors, and adherence to various permits (CDFW Streambed Alteration Agreements, Clean Water Act Section 401 Water Quality Certification, USACE Nationwide Permits) are critical. The initial agreement period is 3 years, with a potential 2-year extension.
