General Project Description

This project involves the modernization of the existing kitchen, storage, walk-in cooler, freezer, dining area, staff toilet rooms, staff office, and servery at Washington Academic Middle School. The scope includes the relocation of existing walk-in coolers and the development of a food service delivery yard. Construction services are to be provided through a Lease-Leaseback arrangement. Additive alternates include work for furred walls, soffit and column framing and finishes, ceiling changes in the lower southern area of Student Dining, new ceilings in the main student dining area, soffit above server, and electrical pathways for the fire alarm system. The work will be performed in accordance with DSA-approved plans and specifications.
