General Project Description
This project involves the procurement and installation of approximately 610 feet of high-security perimeter fencing at the SAWPA Building located at 11615 Sterling Avenue, Riverside, CA 92503. The new fencing, which must be wrought iron or a similar approved material, is required to aesthetically match existing security fencing while exceeding its current material strength and durability to deter trespassing and vandalism. The scope encompasses all necessary engineering, design, permitting, site preparation (including vegetation removal), fence installation (including footings, poles, and meshes), landscaping restoration (replanting privacy hedging), and the hauling away of all trash and debris. Contractors must comply with all applicable regulations from California Labor Code, SCAQMD, Cal/OSHA, and the City of Riverside. Two installation options are presented: replacing existing third-party fencing (requiring encroachment permits) or installing entirely on SAWPA property (necessitating substantial vegetation removal and restoration).
