General Project Description
This project involves the removal and disposal of two existing underground fuel storage tanks and the associated fueling system at Orange County Fire Authority Fire Station No. 71. The comprehensive scope includes excavation, removal, and replacement of concrete pavement, curb and gutter, as well as the installation of a new above-ground diesel fuel storage tank, DEF tote, fueling system, concrete pad, steel canopy, lighting, and electrical infrastructure. Supplemental work items cover site improvements, project advertisement, start-up/testing/training, shoring/excavation protection, as-built documentation, and necessary permitting. The City utilizes Procore software for construction management, requiring contractor interface for scheduling, submittals, RFIs, inspections, and payments.
