General Project Description

This project involves the reconstruction and resurfacing of asphalt concrete (AC) pavement, as well as repairs to Portland cement concrete (PCC) sidewalks, curbs, gutters, cross gutters, and curb ramps. Traffic improvements, including traffic loops and striping, are also part of the scope. The rehabilitation efforts are concentrated in the Civic Center area, specifically along Bristol to Shelton. The contractor will undertake various civil engineering tasks including excavation, paving, concrete flatwork, utility adjustments, and traffic control installations.
