General Project Description

This project involves general hardscape repairs, specifically focusing on curb and sidewalk work within the North County of Santa Barbara's 1st Supervisorial District. The scope includes establishing a traffic control system, implementing a water pollution control program, roadway excavation (including removal of existing sidewalk and curb), placement of Class 2 aggregate base, and the application of minor hot mix asphalt. Key concrete work involves the installation of minor concrete for curbs (which includes repainting red curbs and painting house addresses) and minor concrete for sidewalks. Additional tasks include saw cutting, dig out and removal of damaged hardscape, pruning tree roots, installing root barriers, reconstructing hardscape, paving small areas adjacent to new hardscape, backfilling with specified materials, applying soil sterilant to the subgrade, and adhering to Caltrans Standard Specifications and County Standard Plans.
