Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, AUDIO VISUAL DISTRIBUTED VISUAL SYSTEM, identified under Solicitation ID: C25300. Work is to be performed near 3331 N First St, San Jose, CA 95134, USA in Santa Clara County.
General Project Description
This project involves the provision and installation of a comprehensive Audio/Visual Distributed Visualization System at the VTA office in San Jose. The system is designed to support real-time systems monitoring and coordination for System Safety and Security response. The scope includes furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, supervision, and incidentals to install DVLED video walls, 4K commercial displays, wall-mount video cameras, overhead 2-way audio systems, tabletop touch panels, rack-mount display node servers, and associated cabling. The work also involves software integration for various content sources (Cable TV, Workstations, NVR Streams, Wireless Presentation Solutions) and conferencing applications (VoIP, VTC). The Contractor is responsible for project management, audio cabling installation, coordination with a structured cabling team for Cat6, equipment interface and integration, quality assurance, testing, and documentation.

- Quantity: 1 Unit: EA Work Item: Provision and Installation of complete Audio/Visual Distributed Visualization System in Policy Room. Specifications: Includes (2) 86” 4K commercial displays, dual wall mount video cameras, overhead 2-way audio system, 10” tabletop touch panel for room control.
- Quantity: 1 Unit: EA Work Item: Provision and Installation of complete Audio/Visual Distributed Visualization System in Conference Room. Specifications: Includes 75” 4K commercial display, wall mount video camera, overhead 2-way audio system, wireless input for BYOD, 7” tabletop touch panel for room control, VTA-issued PC connectivity for VTC/VoIP.

- Quantity: 1 Unit: EA Work Item: Provision and Installation of complete Audio/Visual Display System in SOC Director’s Office. Specifications: Includes 55” 4K commercial display mounted on wall, HDMI cable to workstation, remote control.
- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Supply and Install Audio Cabling, Connectors, and Adapters. Specifications: Includes shielded HDMI, Cat5e/Cat6 Ethernet, XLR, speaker wire, coaxial cable, fiber optic cabling (various lengths), RJ45, RCA, XLR, HDMI, VGA, USB-C, DisplayPort, Serial-to-USB cables, and null adapters; all plenum rated and installed using cleanest visual path possible; audio cabling for connectivity between microphone mixers, amplifiers, microphones, and speakers.
