Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, MOW BALLAST REGULATOR REPLACEMENT, identified under Solicitation ID: P25275. Work is to be performed near 101 W Younger Ave, San Jose, CA 95110, USA in Santa Clara County.
General Project Description
This project involves the procurement of one (1) new self-propelled, track-mounted Ballast Regulator for the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA). The equipment will replace an existing Kershaw 26-3-1 unit and is designed for shaping, distributing, and brooming ballast on railroad tracks. The scope requires the new unit to be unused, include a full OEM warranty, and comply with EPA Tier 4 Final emissions standards for non-road diesel equipment. The project also includes on-site operator/maintenance training, delivery of operator/service manuals, an inspection and acceptance report, and an EPA compliance certificate. Options for additional training and spare parts are also available.
