General Project Description

This project entails comprehensive minor repairs and maintenance across the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority's (VTA) Light Rail Transit (LRT) System structures and facilities. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, concrete crack repair via epoxy injection, stair nosing repair, concrete patch repairs, resurfacing, repainting, and stain removal. It also involves the installation and replacement of various joint seals, wood and metal repainting, ceramic tile replacement, and chain link fence repair and replacement. Additional work comprises guardrail maintenance, trash and dry bush/debris removal, general sheet metal repairs, tightening and replacing bolts and screws on barriers, and graffiti removal on decorative tiles. The project requires adherence to stringent safety protocols, including site-specific safety plans and restricted access procedures, and encompasses environmental coordination for stormwater pollution prevention and traffic/pedestrian control throughout the VTA LRT System.
