General Project Description

This project involves the replacement of 8 existing roll-up doors with bi-fold doors at the Guadalupe Light Rail Yard, Building A, and modifications to the existing paint compressor shed to accommodate the new door swing. The full scope is split into a three-part bid: a base bid covering 4 door replacements (tracks #3 and #4) and compressor shed modifications, and two bid options each covering the replacement of two additional doors (tracks #7 and #8, respectively). The work will be performed within an operating rail yard and existing shop facilities, under restrictions to ensure safety and continuous operations. The scope includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, supervision, and incidentals.
