Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, BART Silicon Valley Phase II - Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) Trackwork Engineering (A&E), identified under Solicitation ID: V25326. Work is to be performed near 3331 N First St, San Jose, CA 95134, USA in Santa Clara County.
General Project Description
This project involves professional Architecture & Engineering (A&E) services for the design of temporary spur tracks and related facilities to support the BART Silicon Valley Phase II (BSVII) project's muck off-haul operations. The work includes site investigation and data collection (topographic surveys, geotechnical investigations), preliminary design (horizontal and vertical alignments, track layout alternatives, construction schedules and cost estimates), final design (90% design, final design package, updated schedules and cost estimates, IFB package preparation), bid support, and design support during construction. The design must comply with Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) Public Projects Manual and applicable regulatory requirements, ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted rail operations.
