General Project Description

This project seeks to establish agreements with contractors for As-Needed Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Repair Services across various County-owned/leased facilities in Santa Clara County. The scope includes maintaining existing refrigeration, heating, chilled water, and air conditioning systems, encompassing repairs, charging, testing, component changes (e.g., motors, VFDs, controls, compressors), and the replacement/new installation of deemed irreparable, aging, or outdated equipment. Additionally, the work involves incidental repairs or replacements of associated piping, tubing, electrical wiring, and components. The services are divided into four separate lots for different County departments: Facilities and Fleet, Health System, Parks and Recreation, and Roads and Airports. All work must conform to specified regulations, standards, and best industry practices.
