General Project Description
The project involves carpet replacement and repair services at two Santa Clara County Library District locations: Cupertino Library and Woodland Branch Library. The work includes removal of existing carpet and rubber baseboards, proper disposal, surface preparation (skim coating with Ardex engineered cement or approved equivalent), and installation of new carpet (Milliken On The Grid, Shoreline, Equator, or Nautical Mile) and new Burke rubber floor baseboard. Installation must follow manufacturer guidelines and use approved adhesives. Work also includes cutting around furniture/shelving, installing new transition strips, and mobilization/demobilization of personnel and equipment. All labor, materials, and equipment must be furnished to perform the work safely and in compliance with health and safety standards.
