General Project Description
This document is a pre-qualification package for Job Order Contracting (JOC) construction projects. The County of Santa Clara seeks to pre-qualify prime contractors to perform various construction and maintenance projects under Job Order Contracts. These projects will vary in size and complexity, with individual Job Orders totaling at least $50,000, and the overall Maximum Contract Value not exceeding $6,390,638. The scope of work may involve demolition, repair, or remodeling of existing buildings in both Health Care Administration Information (HCAI) facilities and Non-HCAI facilities. Contractors must demonstrate experience in areas such as interior improvements, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, structural repair, seismic anchorage, equipment installation, utility system work, correctional facility improvements, infection control barriers, and medical office and clinic renovations.
