Santa Clarita City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Transit Security Camera System Replacement, identified under Solicitation ID: BID #IS-25-26-17. Work is to be performed near 23920 Valencia Blvd, Valencia, CA 91355, USA in Los Angeles County.
General Project Description
The City of Santa Clarita is undertaking a project to replace its existing IP security camera systems at the McBean Regional Transit Center (MRTC) and the Transit Maintenance Facility (TMF) with a new high-resolution, hybrid cloud-based security camera system. The project involves installing new cameras (Verkada CD42 and CD42-E or equivalent, IP, POE, 5 MP resolution, with 90-days on-board solid-state storage and cloud upload capabilities), along with all necessary associated hardware including mounting hardware, ethernet cabling, long-distance ethernet signal boosters (Veracity LONGSPAN or equivalent), patch panels, network switches, and accessories. The contractor is responsible for configuring and adjusting cameras for optimal image capture, providing the system with 5 years of software licensing, 10 years of hardware warranty, and 90-days of on-board video retention. Training on system use and features will also be required. All replaced cameras and associated hardware no longer in use must be returned to the City.
