General Project Description

This project involves upgrading the existing traffic signal equipment at the intersection of Lyons Avenue and Avenida Entrana / Everett Drive. The scope of work includes the installation of underground conduit, wiring, signal housings, and pull boxes, as well as related concrete work. The contractor is responsible for furnishing all necessary materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as per the plans, specifications, and contract documents. Key tasks include traffic signal modifications, removal and installation of signal poles, mast arms, foundations, pull boxes, conduits, and loop detectors, along with associated signing. The contractor must ensure safe and adequate pedestrian access and maintain traffic control throughout the construction period. Implementation of Best Management Practices is also a required part of the project.
