General Project Description

This project involves the furnishing of all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals required for the reconstruction or repair of City streets at various locations throughout the City of Santa Clarita. The scope includes cold planing, asphalt concrete overlay and slurry seal applications, replacement of disturbed asphalt concrete, repair of rutting and cracking, subgrade stabilization, adjustment of manhole and water valve covers, traffic control, temporary striping, pavement markings, and traffic signal modifications including loop detector installation and replacement. The project requires extensive coordination with utility companies, adherence to prevailing wage laws, and robust environmental controls including a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and Construction and Demolition Materials Management Plan (CDMMP).
