Santa Clarita City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Newhall Community Center Playground -Design REBID, identified under Solicitation ID: PPOS-25-26-P2027REBID. Work is to be performed near 23920 Valencia Blvd, Valencia, CA 91355, USA in Los Angeles County.
General Project Description
The City of Santa Clarita is seeking proposals for professional consulting services for the design of a new playground at the Newhall Community Center. The project involves designing a new, age-appropriate playground for children aged five to twelve, replacing existing equipment that does not meet current safety standards or age appropriateness. The scope of work for the selected consultant includes project management, preliminary investigations (site visits, land surveying), comprehensive design services (civil engineering, drainage, fine grading, ADA accessibility, play area elements, shade structures, architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, landscape, hardscape, irrigation design), public outreach participation, preparation of construction documents, specifications, cost estimates, permit coordination and review with City's Building & Safety Division, and optional construction support services including "as-built" plans.
