Santa Clarita City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, 2025-26 Overlay Slurry Seal Project, identified under Solicitation ID: CIP-25-26-M0164SS. Work is to be performed near 23920 Valencia Blvd, Valencia, CA 91355, USA in Los Angeles County.
General Project Description
This project involves the reconstruction and repair of City streets at various locations within the City of Santa Clarita. The scope includes furnishing all necessary materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals for saw-cutting, excavation, removal, and disposal of existing asphalt concrete (AC) roadway sections; cold milling and disposal of AC pavement; setup and maintenance of traffic control systems; placement of AC and Asphalt Rubber Hot Mix (ARHM) pavement materials; coordination with utilities and SCRRA; replacement of traffic striping and markings, including micro-surfacing and crack sealing; and general clean-up of the project areas. Additionally, the project includes traffic signal modifications such as removal and installation of signal poles, mast arms, foundations, video detection systems, conduits, pull boxes, loop detectors, pedestrian push buttons, and LED luminaires. Adherence to storm water pollution control regulations and construction/demolition waste management is required.

- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODIFICATIONS (Includes removal and installation of traffic signal poles, mast arms, foundations; adjustment/realignment of video detection zones/cameras; removal/installation of sign panels; installation of 4”, 3”, 1” PVC conduits; trenching & backfilling in sidewalks (18”); installation of Type 61 Standard foundations and controller pads; 6’x6’ or 6’ round loop detectors and lead-in cables; video detection hybrid cables; 3-12” signals; APS pedestrian push buttons and posts; pedestrian heads; 250W HPS equivalent LED luminaires/lamps; 9 & 3 conductor signal cables; SV-1-T signal mounts; and MAS signal mounts. Also covers temporary video detection systems and permanent traffic loops.)
