Santa Cruz Metropolitan Transit District is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Annual Emergency Generator Load Bank Testing and Preventative Maintenance Services, identified under Solicitation ID: RFP No. 26-12. Work is to be performed near 110 Vernon St, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, USA in Santa Cruz County.

General Project Description

Santa Cruz METRO is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide annual emergency generator load bank testing and preventative maintenance services for emergency generators located at its various transit centers and facilities throughout Santa Cruz County. The scope of work includes comprehensive annual inspections, full load bank testing with a 4-hour resistive test and an additional 1-hour power supply to the building, battery testing, visual inspections for leaks, verification of block heater operation, fluid level checks, confirmation of generator exercise function, and detailed reporting of all findings, recommended repairs, preventative maintenance, and cost estimates. Additionally, the contractor will provide on-call emergency repair services with a two-hour response time. The contract will have an initial three-year term with two optional two-year renewals.
