General Project Description

This public works project involves improvements on Park and Orchard Streets in the City of Santa Paula. The scope includes the installation of approximately 1,500 linear feet of 8-inch diameter potable water pipeline, including removal of existing pipes, connections to water mains, temporary water highline system, pavement removal, excavation, thrust blocks, miscellaneous water improvements, pressure testing, flushing, disinfection, bacteriological testing, backfill, compaction, and replacement trench paving. Additionally, it requires the removal of 325 linear feet of existing 6-inch diameter VCP sewer pipe and replacement with 6-inch diameter PVC pipe, manhole replacement, pavement grind and 2.5-inch overlay for both streets, digout areas, minor curb and gutter replacement, and sidewalk replacement, along with other incidental and appurtenant work.
