South Bay Union School District is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, BID 364 – SBUSD Multiuse Room AV Refresh, identified under Solicitation ID: 364. Work is to be performed near 1111 Saturn Blvd, San Diego, CA 92154, USA in San Diego County.

General Project Description

The South Bay Union School District is seeking qualified vendors to perform a comprehensive Audio-Visual (AV) upgrade across 10 elementary school sites. The project aims to modernize aging AV equipment, ensure long-term reliability and supportability, and will involve furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, software, licenses, shipping, and incidentals. Key tasks include removing and disposing of legacy AV equipment, furnishing and installing new AV systems, integrating AV systems with existing IT/network infrastructure, testing, commissioning, documenting installed systems, and providing training and warranty support. Installation will occur in multipurpose rooms, which serve as large-capacity spaces for assemblies, performances, and community events, with the goal of modernizing projection, audio, and control systems for ease of use and high-quality performance. The District reserves the right to adjust quantities, system configurations, and site sequencing.

General Bid Items

Specifications: ensure clear sound coverage throughout the space, provide audio connectivity for at least 4 microphone channels, 1 digital audio channel from video source (e.g., BluRay player), 2 analog line inputs (one via control cabinet, one via 3.5mm jack).

Specifications: streamlined, user-friendly control interface (e.g., touch panel or simplified remote), management of projector, audio levels, microphone pairing, input switching, one-button macro functions for common scenarios (audio-only, video playback, etc.).
