General Project Description

The City of South San Francisco is soliciting proposals for professional construction management and inspection services for the South SF Bridge Repairs Project. This project is part of the Bridge Preventative Maintenance Program (BPMP) and encompasses work on nine independent bridge structures located throughout the City. The construction activities to be managed and inspected include repairing concrete spalls, concrete bridge barriers/railings, applying methacrylate to bridge decks, and replacing joint seals. The scope also involves the development and implementation of temporary creek diversion systems and comprehensive water quality monitoring. Contractors are expected to have experience in BPMP bridge rehabilitation repairs and a thorough understanding of the Caltrans Uniform File System.
