• Quantity: -  Unit: LS  Work Item: General Demolition Requirements: Provide temporary barriers, security devices (chain link fence, tree protection). Implement dust control measures (continuous watering, opening protection, dust curtains).
• Quantity: -  Unit: LS  Work Item: Debris Disposal: Remove and legally dispose of all demolition debris with certification of proper disposal methods (dump receipts, hazardous material certification).
• Quantity: -  Unit: LS  Work Item: Joint Sealers: Provide and install sealants and caulking at door and louver frames, plumbing fixtures, epoxy cove base, toilet accessories, and other locations requiring air-tight/weather-tight installation or joint closure. Material types specified include Polyurethane Sealant (Type A), polyethylene foam sealant ("SILL SEAL", Type B), acrylic solvent-based sealant ("GEOCEL" GSL-2000, Type C), fire-rated silicone elastomer (Dow Corning #2000, Type D), mildew-resistant silicone sealant (Dow Corning #786, Type E), interior woodwork joint sealant (DAP Formula 230, Type F), Mastic Bituminous plastic cement (DAP Blacktite, Type G), and one-part acrylic (Tremco "Mono", Sealant A).
• Quantity: -  Unit: LS  Work Item: Steel Doors and Frames: Furnish and install hollow metal frames for doors, side lights, borrowed lights, and other openings. Manufacturers: Ceco Corp., Fenestra, Republic Steel Corp., Steelcraft Mfg. Co., Forderer, Overly. Materials: Hot-rolled steel (ASTM A569, A568), cold-rolled steel (ASTM A366), 14-gauge supports/anchors (ASTM A153 galvanized), hardware reinforcing (7ga butts/pivots, 12ga locks, 12ga surface-applied), fillers (Spintex, mineral rock wool, fiberglass non-combustible), rust-inhibitive primer shop paint. Minimum steel gauges for doors: face sheets 18ga, stiffener channel 18ga. For frames: Interior/Exterior/label frames 16ga.
• Quantity: -  Unit: LS  Work Item: Door Hardware: Provide and install all hardware for doors including gates. Locksets (Schlage ND Series, ANSI A156.2 Series 4000; Rhodes Lever), 6-pin IC core cylinders, door closers (LCN Closers, ANSI Modern Type), door sweeps (Pemko 315 CN), door holders (Glyn-Johnson, Trimco), and all associated trim (door stops, bumpers, rollers, push plates, armor plates, pulls, flush bolts, coordinators, kick plates).
• Quantity: -  Unit: LS  Work Item: Stationary Louvers: Furnish and install Ruskin Company Model L24 stationary inverted chevron type louvers. Design: 4" blades in frame (standard channel or flanged). Frame Depth: 4" (102 mm), Wall Thickness: 16-gauge (1.58 mm) roll formed galvanized steel. Blades: inverted chevron 45-degree angle on 2-1/2" (64 mm) centers, 16-gauge Wall Thickness (1.58 mm) roll formed galvanized steel. Insect Screens: Aluminum 18-16 mesh, mill finish, .011" (.13 x 1.1 mm) wire.
• Quantity: -  Unit: LS  Work Item: Troweled Epoxy Flooring: Furnish and install Dex-o-tex Terracolor or equal troweled epoxy flooring with crack isolation membrane and screeds. Thickness: 1/4" overall total, without crack isolation membrane. Crack Isolation Membrane: Dex-o-tex CS Membrane, 30-40 mils thickness, installed on all floor areas and continuous up walls minimum of 3". Skid resistance via surface texture (roller or aggregate).
• Quantity: -  Unit: LS  Work Item: Fiberglass Reinforced Panels: Furnish and install Marlite FRP panels or approved equivalent in restrooms, including associated trims and accessories. Materials: Marlite Brand with Sani-Coat sealer. Trim: Extruded aluminum trim profiles for .090” thick panels (F 550 SS Inside Corner, F 561 SS Outside Corner, F 565 SS Division, F 570 SS Edge), Outside Corner Guard. Adhesives: C-551 Marlite FRP Adhesive (water-resistant, non-flammable), C-375 Marlite Construction Adhesive (strong, flexible, water-resistant, solvent-based). Sealant: Marlite® Brand MS-250 Clear/MS-251 White Silicone Sealant, or Color Match Sealant.
• Quantity: -  Unit: LS  Work Item: Painting: Provide and install all painted coatings for new and existing construction including prep, cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming. Products by Benjamin Moore & Co.: Vinyl Acrylic Masonry Primer (#169-00) or Acrylic Masonry Sealer (#066-01), 100% Acrylic Flat Latex House Paint (#180), 100% Acrylic Direct to Metal Semi Gloss Finish (#M29), Acrylic Direct to Metal Satin Finish (#363), Fresh Start 100% Acrylic Primer (#023-00). Total dry-film thickness not less than 4.5 mils for three-coat work.
• Quantity: -  Unit: LS  Work Item: Signage: Furnish and install signage complying with California Accessibility Code (Title 24, Sections 11B-703.1 to 11B-703.7) including visual and tactile characters, Braille. Panel Material: matte-finished opaque acrylic sheet, 1/32" minimum raised copy thickness. Graphic Process: 1/8” thick melamine plastic laminate, fire retardant and self-extinguishing with sand-carved text.
• Quantity: -  Unit: LS  Work Item: Toilet Partitions: Furnish and install floor-mounted solid compact laminate (CL/Solid Phenolic) toilet partitions, Bobrick DuraLine Series or equal. Stiles and Doors: 3/4" (19 mm) thick. Panels and Screens: 1/2" (13 mm) thick. Floor Clearance: 12" (30 cm). Stile standard height: 69" (175 cm). Materials: Solidly fused plastic laminate with matte-finish melamine surfaces, integrally bonded colored face sheets and black phenolic-resin core. Stiles: floor-anchored with expansion shields, threaded rods, 7-gauge/3/16" leveling devices, 22-gauge Type 304 stainless steel 4" stile shoes. Wall Posts: 18-8, Type 304, 16-gauge stainless steel, 1" x 1-1/2" x 58" high. Hardware: ADA compliant (less than 5 lbs operating force).
• Quantity: -  Unit: LS  Work Item: Toilet Accessories: Furnish and install a full array of renovated toilet accessories including Warm Air Hand Dryers, Graffiti-resistant Mirrors (Bobrick 816828 or American Specialties Model 0600), Stainless Steel Grab Bars (Bobrick B-6806 for corner stall, 48” long with wall to floor socket for supplemental HC stalls), Garb Bar Anchors (Bobrick B-252-30), and Drinking Fountain Bars (B6806 Series with snap cover). Accessories to be installed with non-corrosive anchoring devices, stainless steel Phillips head screws for exposed locations.

Materials: Steel tubing (ASTM A500 Grade A), Steel rails/bars (ASTM A29 Grade 1010), Steel plates/shapes/bars (ASTM A36). All metal fencing and gates to be hot-dip galvanized. Metal Fence Components: Pickets (3/4" square steel tubular, ASTM F2589/A-500, hot-dip galvanized, 4” max face-to-face spacing, 14-gauge wall thickness), Rails (2" square, 14-gauge galvanized steel tube), Posts (square tubular steel, ASTM A-500, hot-dip galvanized, 45,000 psi yield strength, 14" wall thickness), Post Caps (malleable iron or formed steel).
