General Project Description

This project involves the preparation and construction of a full basketball court at Rutter Park, including the pick-up, transport, and installation of District-procured basketball standards. The scope also encompasses site demolition of concrete, clearing and grubbing, site layout and staking, rough and finish grading, temporary construction fencing, relocation of two existing concrete benches, installation of a new trash receptacle, new concrete paving and mowbands, sleeves under paving, adjustments and new improvements to the existing irrigation system, installation of a new drain sump, turf repair, and other minor site work. Additive alternates include an accessible play area ramp and entry, redwood log preparation and installation, landscape boulders, further landscape and irrigation improvements, and chemical treatment of the basketball court subgrade for asphalt paving. The work includes furnishing all permits, materials, labor, services, tools, plants, supplies, equipment, management, and superintendence.
