Southgate Recreation and Park District is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Norman S. Waters ADA Sidewalk Improvements (Project), identified under Solicitation ID: -. Work is to be performed near 6000 Orange Ave, Sacramento, CA 95823, USA in Sacramento County.

General Project Description

This project involves ADA sidewalk improvements at Norman S. Waters Park. The scope includes furnishing all permits, materials, labor, and equipment for site demolition, clearing, and grubbing, site layout, temporary construction fencing, rough and finish grading, concrete flatwork (sidewalks, retaining curbs, and retaining walls), accessible handrail installation with barrier rail, installation of new trash receptacles and reuse of existing ones, irrigation system improvements and modifications, utility sleeve installation, tree and root barrier installation, repair of turf disturbed by construction activities with turf seed, and bark mulch installation. The contractor is also responsible for coordinating the delivery and installation of District-procured picnic tables and landscape boulders, and contracting a special testing and inspection agency for geotechnical and County-required special inspections. Additionally, exterior painting of metal, masonry, and wood elements is required.
