General Project Description
The City of Stanton is soliciting proposals from qualified environmental consulting firms to provide comprehensive services for its National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) and Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) Control Programs. This involves ensuring compliance with state and federal water quality regulations, preventing Sanitary Sewer Overflows (SSOs), and implementing measures for effective cleanup and reporting. The consultant will provide part-time NPDES and FOG Program Managers, offering oversight, technical expertise, program administration, compliance planning, funding assistance, staff training, support for capital projects, development reviews, construction inspections, facility inspections, investigations, public outreach, and robust monitoring, reporting, and database management. The scope includes assisting with a wastewater collection system of approximately 50.5 miles of gravity mains and 1,100 manholes.
