General Project Description

This project, Campus Fiber Optic Upgrades, for Clovis Community College involves a successful bidder providing all necessary labor, tools, and materials to install new 24-strand fiber optic cable(s). The installation will connect the CCC Main Crossconnect (MC) in Building AC1, Room 133T, to the entrance telecom room (TR) of each CCC building, strictly adhering to design drawings and specifications. The new fiber optic infrastructure must be installed in parallel with existing legacy systems without disrupting current services, utilizing existing pathways for cable routing wherever feasible to minimize construction impact and ensure compliance with building standards. All work must conform to applicable industry standards, local codes, and CCC specifications, with the contractor responsible for testing and certifying all installed fiber optic cables for performance and connectivity.
