General Project Description

The City of Suisun City is seeking proposals from qualified solid waste collectors to provide comprehensive solid waste, recycling, and organic waste collection and management services. The project aims to establish a new exclusive franchise agreement for residential (single-family and multi-family dwellings), commercial, industrial, and City collection services, replacing the existing hauler. The scope includes efficient and environmentally responsible collection, transfer, transport, processing, recycling, and disposal of garbage, source-separated recyclable materials, and source-separated organic waste, in compliance with applicable local, State, and Federal laws, including SB 1383. Services also encompass various optional and additional components like bulky waste pick-ups, household hazardous waste (HHW) programs, street sweeping, and community outreach.
