Thousand Oaks City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Steel Road Plates, identified under Solicitation ID: -. Work is to be performed near 2100 Thousand Oaks Blvd, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362, USA in Ventura County.
General Project Description
This Request for Quotation seeks vendors to supply structural-grade carbon steel road plates of various sizes for the City of Thousand Oaks Department of Public Works. These plates are for deployment over open trenches during construction and related work. Each plate must be new, unused, free from defects, meet ASTM A36 standards or equivalent for heavy vehicular traffic, be one inch thick, have a 1 1/4 inch treaded tap for a lifting pin in the center, one-inch holes at each corner for road pins, and a non-skid surface with welded hard facing. Smooth steel plates will be rejected. The procurement includes a total of twelve (12) road plates in specified sizes.
