Torrance City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Replacement of Transit Scissor Advantage Lift, identified under Solicitation ID: B2026-02. Work is to be performed near 20500 Madrona Ave, Torrance, CA 90503, USA in Los Angeles County.

General Project Description

The City of Torrance is seeking qualified vendors for a turn-key project involving the removal, disposal, and replacement of one (1) inground 1998 Rotary V-Rex Scissor Advantage lift located in the steam bay of the Transit Maintenance Garage. The project requires the use of certified Rotary lifts or equivalent equipment meeting Federal Transit Administration specifications and OSHA compliance. The scope encompasses all labor, equipment, materials, and accessories for a complete and operational system, including ground penetrating radar surveys, obtaining all necessary building and electrical permits/inspections, city approval of lift specifications/layout, installation per manufacturer requirements, testing, dust control measures, adherence to California Building Code, and new equipment operator training. All equipment and construction materials must comply with Buy America Standards and the Build America, Buy American Act.
